But after the chaos, disorientation and confusion comes order and peace. Being the only person below 30 years old attending a workshop with "goldies" can be "makawindang". The older members of the group tend to pay more attention in the discussion and the below-30-year-old me tend to stray thoughts to other immaterial things greatly unrelated to the matters being discussed at the moment.
My thoughts this very moment: In the world of the big boss, big people and people who think themselves big, the not-so-woman in her mid-20's is the "girl over there" (as described by my colleague while introducing who I was) who is given the most opportunities to dream. Officemates tell me that I can do this or be that. Small people can dream big. And being big that they are, I guess they couldn't ask for more so they dream less.
